DTU divested from 5 complicit companies !

The Palestine Solidarity Network at DTU has long worked hard to unravel the ties between DTU and complicit Israeli institutions. Over the past year, they managed to get the portfolios of DTU’s investments and compared them to the UN blacklist for companies involved in Israeli settlements.
They found 6 explicitly blacklisted companies: AirBnb, TripAdvisor, Bookings.com, Delek Logistics, Motorola and Altice.

Through constant pressure, both from them and with the success of the encampments in KU resulting in a similar divestment, DTU divested from 5 of them. This is a huge victory, but it is not complete !

Indeed, the 6th one, Altice, was forgotten. We therefore demanded that:

1) DTU cut ties with Altice and give us their updated portfolios
2) DTU publish their portfolios publicly, similarly to KU for example, with quarterly updates
3) DTU set up an ethical investment policy, like many other Danish universities have.

Day after day, the boycott and divestment movement grows, and tomorrow, it will be seen as absolutely outrageous by anyone to build any kind of partnership with or investment in complicit Israeli institutions !
